The
Case ScenarioBuilder is a tool educators can use to present instructional
content on the web in the form of cases, scenarios or simulations
of real-world situations. Learners can interact and explore
content, make decisions and get feedback. The case scenario
builder tool provides a template for placing content and making it
come alive with interactivity. You can add text, images, video
and audio as well as interactive questions with answers.
The authoring tool to create case scenarios is currently under construction
and well be available in September 2008.
Technical
Case
ScenarioBuilder is an open-source desktop authoring tool that
publishes html based learning objects. It will be available
for both PC and Mac platforms. The published case scenarios
are generally accessed by users from web pages in the form of a
pop-up or embedded object. A variety of media types can be
incorporated into a case scenario including videos, audio files,
Flash objects, images as well as hyperlinks to pdf documents and
web sites. All that is needed for authoring and accessing
published case scenarios is a current internet browser.
