The Minnesota History Center's exhibit "Then Now Wow" will use the mobile gaming tool, ARIS, to give visitors a unique, interactive experience.

ARIS or Augmented Reality and Interactive Storytelling is an open-source authoring platform to create place-based or narrative gaming activities for teaching and learning developed by a team of collaborators from UW-Madison's Engage Program and the Games+Learning+Society center.

The Mobile Learning Incubator has a two-year, $50,000 project to develop a new kind of mobile gaming experience that connects to the physical interactions of the Minnesota History Center's exhibit.
